Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish will have “serious” talks with Frank de Boer after the club’s poor start to the season.

The Eagles have lost their opening three league games, including home defeats to Huddersfield and Swansea, putting the Dutchman under severe pressure.

De Boer replaced Sam Allardyce in the summer after the former England manager helped secure Palace’s Premier League status last season.

He has introduced a new 3-4-3 formation which Palace players are not used to.

Parish admits De Boer has started poorly, and is set to conduct talks with his manager.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s not been great. It's a results-based business, so if you don't get wins - Frank knows that.

“We’ve got to look at how we've been performing, how we've been playing and what we can do to improve it.

“We’ll be working hard and having serious conversations and making sure we turn it around.”
