Ruben Loftus-Cheek is uncertain about his Chelsea future.
The young midfielder joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan in the summer in an attempt to play regular first-team football.
Loftus-Cheek’s opportunities were limited at Stamford Bridge, and now, he is impressing in a struggling Palace side.
When asked if Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has given him any assurances over his role next season, the 21-year-old told the Star: “Not at all.
“But I don’t think it’s right to because you never know how I’ll perform this season. So, right now I’m just literally focused on Palace.

“He [Conte] said I need to play games. Chelsea is a big club and there’s a lot of pressure which I understand.
“For me, it was the right time for me to go away from Chelsea right now and get my game-time elsewhere.
“I’m really just enjoying playing, that’s the main thing for me at the moment. I just want to play as many games as possible and improve.
“For me right now I’m happy. I know we haven’t made the best of starts, but we have to try and fight, and I want to stay and fight with Palace.”
