Wilfried Zaha has returned to first-team training after recovering from a knee injury.

Zaha has been sidelined since the opening day of the season and has watched his side lose six successive league games.

There were doubts surrounding his fitness for the Eagles’ clash with Chelsea next Saturday.

However, it looks like Palace’s star man will be fit enough to play some part.

Goalless Palace are bottom of the Premier League after making their worst start to a top-flight campaign.

Zaha is yet to play under Roy Hodgson, who replaced Frank de Boer in the Eagles hotseat last month. And his return will come as a much-needed boost for the former England manager.

Hodgson is already without key duo Christian Benteke and Ruben Loftus-Cheek for the Chelsea game.

Benteke is crocked with a knee injury, while Loftus-Cheek is ineligible to play against his parent club.
