Crystal Palace striker Jonathan Benteke has been ruled out for several months with a knee injury.
The 21-year-old younger brother of club-record signing Christian Benteke has made one appearance for the Eagles since his move to south London.
Palace boss Alan Pardew expressed his disappointment at the injury, which occurred during a training session and will keep Benteke sidelined for three to four months.
Pardew, 55, said: “His meniscus on his knee is the problem.”
Crystal Palace, who have sealed three straight wins in the Premier League, travel to Everton on Friday night.
