PLANS to build a new community hall and flats on the Waytemore garage site in Waytemore Road, Bishop's Stortford, have been approved by East Herts Council.
Stort Valley Housing Association wants to demolish the existing scout hut and 48 garages and build a new community facility with hall, meeting room, office, kitchen storage rooms and toilets, and 16 one and two-bedroom flats.
