FULL TIME
93 min: GOAL GOAL GOAL!!!! Danns curls home from the edge of the box and Palace are going to win. Clyne set him up. Brilliant. Completely undeserved but brilliant.
90 min: SUB: Hills on, Lawrence off. Four minutes added on.
88 min: YELLOW CARD. Davis booked for a hefty challenge from behind.
83 min: GOAL. DAVID MIRFIN heads in McCann's corner. He connects at the near post and says it into the top corner on the other side. Great header and in fairness Scunny do not deserve to lose this.
82 min: SUB: Togwell off, O'Connor on.
81 min: YELLOW CARD. Byrne joins just about everyone else in the book for a pull on Djilali.
80 min: Byrne scampers down the right and puts in a cross but it's low and behind everyone so Clyne clears.
77 min: SUB: McDermott off, Maloney on.
76 min: Scunny have gone to pieces and Djilali finds himself in acres of space in the box. He goes for placement though and Murphy comes out and saves.
75 min: SUB: Lee off, Andrew on.
74 min: Lawrence again produces a brilliantly timed last-ditch tackle to prevent Hooper getting through. Palace the break and Lee crosses for Djilali at the back post but he blazes high and wide.
71 min: RED CARD. Djilali gets played through by Danns and Williams takes him down from behind and gets sent off. It looked like he got the ball to be honest but how cruel can this game be. Scunny have been the better side by far but now they are losing and down to 10 men.
70 min: SUB: Thompson off, Forte on. He destroyed Palace at Selhurst earlier in the season.
66 min: Hooper shoots from a tight angle and hits the side-netting. 64 min: SUB: Butterfield off, Djilali on as Palace go for pace.
63 min: GOAL! Unbelievable, Palace are ahead. DARREN AMBROSE's corner isn't cleared, Derry plays it back out to him and he is given time to curl a shot into the corner. Very harsh on Scunny but we'll take that.
60 min: YELLOW CARD. I put a curse on Lawrence as he goes in the book for a late tackle on Hooper even though the linesman was flagging for offside. Free kick to Scunny too that Davis clears to McDermott. He shoots on the volley and Speroni dives to his right to save.
57 min: Lawrence, who has been super today, does well again to stop Hooper going past him when he is the last man.
55 min: Lots of niggly fouls breaking up play at the minute, the ref has been more than a little bit picky today.
50 min: YELLOW CARD. Jones booked for a late challenge on Danns.
49 min: Superb pace from Clyne as Hooper gets clear and crosses to Hayes low at the back post but Clyne foes just enough to get back and put him off. Good defending in the end but before that Palace were torn apart by Scunny's pace again.
46 min: Palace get us going again, no changes.
HALF TIME: Palace almost go infront at the end of the half as Danns chips a ball to the back post but Williams gets a great nick on the ball before Ambrose can touch it home. In general though Palace have been flat as a pancake and Scunny look very very good. See you in 15.
45 min: Palace with a mini-spell of pressure at the end of the half but they fail to get a shot away. TWO minutes added on.
40 min: Five minutes left and Palace will be happy to go in level, they have created nothing of note. As I say that Carle get s chance to put his half volley over the bar as Scunny fail to clear a throw. Half chance that.
34 min: THREE YELLOW CARDS. Butterfield flies through the air as he goes in high on Hayes. He doesn't connect but Hayes gets up and grabs Butterfield by the throat and then Derry gets involved by shoving Hayes. All three are booked and Butterfield is maybe the luckiest of them to still be on the pitch. 29 min: First shot on target as Lee beats Jones to Hill's cross but heads it straight at Murphy.
27 min: YELLOW CARD. Lee has been getting more and more frustrated and is lucky not to get booked there as he pushed Byrne off the ball and then kicks the ball away. Oh wait, 20 seconds later he hauls Mirfin down and now does get the yellow card.
24 min: Palace struggle to clear their lines as Togwell beats Derry to a 50-50 and then Clyne give McDermott to much time to get his shot away but it whistles across the face of goal and wide.
20 min: There's no doubt about this Palace are second best and struggling to amek anything happen. The long ball to Lee isn't working, Jones and Mirfin have that covered, and Warnock needs to find a plan B.
14 min: Byrne's just missed an open goal from six yards. Davis lost Jones at a corner, he poked towards goal, the ball hit someone in front of Speroni and came back out to Byrne who somehow missed the net to the left of the far post. Palace very lucky here and they need to up their game soon.
11 min: Scunny should be ahead as Byrne crosses behind Lawrence for McCann who gets in front of Danns six yards out but shins the ball over. That all came from a poor kick by Speroni, he hasn't actually done a good one yet.
10 min: Thompson shows good pace to keep a ball in that everyone else thought was out and then runs at the box and shoots low and hard but Speroni gather.
6 min: Hooper and Hayes looking very lively for Scunny up front but Lee is getting no change out of the giant that is Jones in the home side's defence.
2 min: Hill and Davis get themselves in a right mess from a Scunthorpe throw in by their own corner flag and suddenly Thompson is crossing for McDermott at the back post but he mishits. Less than a minute later Scunny are attacking again but Derry clears the danger.
1 min: Scunthorpe get us off and running, playing left to right towards the Palace fans.
2.59pm: The teams are out with Palace in their away kit of white shirts and blue shorts this afternoon. Alan Lee is still sported a bandage on his head where he got his cut against Wolves.
2.56pm: It's a pretty small ground here, all one tier and holds about 6000 I would guess. The Palace fans are camped behind the goal to my right, there's a few hundred of them that have made the journey.
2.50pm: Just before I came up here to the press box (I say box it's more of a bench that is going to get very cramped) something very strange happened in the press room. I was stood there with Richard Cawley from the South London Press watching the Liverpool and in walks Neil Warnock himself, says hello and starts watching the match with us. He wasn't particularly happy that Liverpool were winning and didn't think bringing Ryan Babel on was a good idea but otherwise he was in quite good spirits and said it would be good to get something here today, which indeed it would, Scunthorpe are in good form. He also said he couldn't bare to be in the dressing room with the players music blaring out...
2.40pm: SCUNTHORPE: Joe Murphy, Marcus Williams, Sam Togwell, cliff Byrne, Grant McCann, Paul Hayes, Gary Hooper, Garry Thompson, Rob Jones, David Mirfin, Donal McDermott. Subs: Josh Lillis, Jonathan Forte, Martyn Woolford, Michael O'Connor, Josh Wright, Brendan Moloney, Michael Raynes.
PALACE: Julian Speroni, Nathaniel Clyne, Matthew Lawrence, Claude Davis, Clint Hill, Shaun Derry, Neil Danns, Nick Carle, Darren Ambrose, Alan Lee, Danny Butterfield. Subs: Stern John, Sean Scannell, Lee Hills, Calvin Andrew, Kieran Djilali, James Comley, Alassane N'Diaye.
2.35pm: The teams are in and Neil Warnock names the same 11 that beat Wolves in midweek, so Matt Lawrence keeps his place at centre back and Lee Hills is only the bench. Stern John is also back and among the subs. Full line-ups coming up.
2.30pm: Hello and welcome back to live text commentary as Crystal Palace look to avenge the 4-0 reverse they suffered at Selhurst back in October. I would like to apologise to fans who tuned in for coverage of the last two games, sadly we couldn't get them covered but if it is any consolation I was gutted not to be there on Tuesday to see Danny Butterfield score a hat-trick. I thought pigs would fly before that happened.
