Hello and welcome to Portman Road for the Championship match between Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace, with myself Neil McSteen. The big team news? Shefki Kuqi is on the bench. Remember him? Maybe he will score against his old club...

Other Palace team news; Craig Beattie, on-loan from West Brom, starts up front for the Eagles. Paul Ifill and Victor Moses also start, and are likely to play upfront alongside Beattie when Palace are attacking, and when defending they will drop into a five-man midfield wiht Watson, Carle and Derry.

Clint Hill, Jose Fonte, Danny Butterfield and Patrick McCarthy, in for Matt Lawrence who is on the bench, make up the back four.

On the bench, Carl Fletcher, Sean Scannell, the fit again John Oster and Shefki Kuqi keep Lawrence company.

Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" is currently playing over the PA at Portman Road. Ironic considering that Neil Warnock said in midweek that "no gives us a prayer of winning" against Jim Magilton's men.

As for Ipswich, Jim Magilton is in charge of his 100th league game for Town today. Jon Stead, who Warnock managed at Sheffield United, starts upfront alongside Kevin Lisbie in a 4-4-2 formation. Alex Bruce, son of Steve Bruce also starts.

Going into this late-kick off Palace find themselves already third from bottom. If the Eagles lose 4-0 they go bottom.

Palace are in their white tops, blue shorts and white socks. Craig Beattie is wearing number 19 Palace kick-off.

6 MINS - Palace have mide a lively start through Moses and Carle. Norris is also finding space in the midfield for Ipswich. The hosts have also had a corner that Palace dealt with. A good opening from both sides.

Alex Bruce YELLOW CARD for sticking Beattie up in the air. Watson floats the free-kick in, but Town clear. Watson then goes in on Shumulikokski and gets a yellow card.

11 MINS - Miller goes close for Town, swinging a foot from just outside the area to send the ball just wide of Speroni's left hand post.

The ref gives a corner but the shot didn't appear to be deflected and Speroni didn't get his fingers to it.

16 MINS - Moses runs at the Town defence but the ball is taken off him 17 MINS - Walters whips the ball in from the left, and Patrick McCarthy is at full stretch to clear the ball with Speroni clattering into him. Town are starting to stretch Palace.

19 MINS - Watson shapes up for a shot but the Town defence closes him down.

21 MINS - Carle gets Palace's first shot on target when he turns in the box and gets his effort away. But Richard Wright is alert to it and gathers. Butterfield then goes close when his close range effort from an acute angle is knee'ed behind for a corner by Wright. Watson's corner is outswinging, finds Carle, but he makes a hash of the effort and ends up playing the ball back Watsons way.

23 MINS - GOAL! Jon Stead scores for Town, the ball finding him unmarked on the penalty spot for an easy chance

24 MINS - Moses nearly gets Palace back on terms, getting over Alex Bruce and heading goal wards from 5 yards out. Wright expertly tips it over for a corner

25 MINS - GOAL!!!!! Palace are back in it, when the corner comes over Wright flaps at it and Moses is at the far post to head home. David Norris tries to stop the ball on the line with his head and hand but the header is too powerful.

29 MINS - David Norris floats over a free-kick after Fonte is penalised, and Kevin Lisbie gets his head to it only for Speroni to tip over. Norris then takes the resulting corner, and as Palace clear he catches Moses and is given a YELLOW CARD.

From the resulting free-kick, which Fonte takes, the ball bounces around the Town penalty area. Clint Hill gets two bites of the cherry, Wright saves the first effort, it falls to Hill again but leaning back and with his right foot he shoots over the bar from 8 yards out.

33 MIN - Carle lashes a shot goalwards and it goes just wide of the post. This is end to end football.

39 MINS - Moses gets forward, wins a corner. Watson takes, but before he does the ref wants a word with Fonte and an Ipswich player. Watson finally takes it, Ipswich fail to clear and Ifill strikes one from the edge of the box but it flies over.

41 MINS - Lisbie is getting a talking to.

42 MINS - McCarthy clatters Lisbie. The game has got a bit stop-start over the past 5 mins.

66 MINS - Ipswich win a corner, Palace clear, but it falls to Shumulikoski who rifles a low shot from outside the penalty area that goes inches wide.

78 MINS - Town wins a corner, Miller plays it to Campo just outside the area, but his shot is just over. Good effort from the old timer.

86 MIN - Moses shoots from an acute angle - keeper saves. Up the other end, Watson cuts out Garvan's cross and concedes a corner. Lisbie then goes close. Either team can win this game right now!

90 MIN - Garvan puts the ball invitingly across the face of goal, but no-one is there to turn it in. 4 MINS of injury time now being played

92 MIN - Garvan does it again! But again no-one gambles and Palace escape.

FULL TIME Palace come away with a well earned point from Portman Road after a decent performance. Boos ring out from the Ipswich fans as their fans felt they should have taken three points from this fixture, but Neil Warnock's men proved tough to beat.

Look out for a full report and reaction later on, and join us for the game against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night.
