Welcome to this evening's game against Barnsley at Selhurst Park, with me Graham Moody.

Neil Warnock makes two enforced changes for the Eagles, both at the back. Paddy McCarthy has not recovered from his shoulder injury in time and is replaced by Matt Lawrence while Danny Butterfield's hamstring has ruled him out with academy graduate Nathanial Clyne making his debut in his place.

Palace team: Speroni, Clyne, Lawrence, Fonte, Hill, Derry, Carle, Watson, Moses, Ifill, Beattie. SUBS: Scannell, Danns, Ertl, Oster, Kuqi.

Barnsley team: Muller, Hassell, Kozluk, Foster, Hume, Leon, De Silva, Souza, Campbell-Ryce, Devaney, Rigters. SUBS: Colace, Odejayi, Steele, Macken, Van Homoet.

It's family day here today and so far we've had a group of dancing girls out in the centre of the park, incidentally the cheerleaders aren't here today, maybe they were a bit annoyed by it, and some freestylers doing lots of flips over wheelie bins - it was interesting!

Big call from Warnock today throwing Clyne straight in. He's had rave reviews in the reserves though so we will see how he does. Ertl migt be a bit annoyed though that he is ahead of him but the Austrian has been carrying an injury. Play about to start.

min: A couple of half chances for Palace as Watson long shot is blocked by Hassell then Beattie can only get a glancing header to Hill's cross. A minute late and another chance as Moses twists past Hassell and Watson toe pokes his cross wide at the near post.

min: Palace on top but the final ball is lacking right now. Beattie looks in good nick.

min: Watson's near post corner comes out to Carle 12 yards out but he skews horribly wide.

min: For a family day the attendance looks a little poor today, lots of empty seats and it's showing with the atmosphere - there isn't one.

min: Campbell-Ryce gets to the byline but Clyne, who lost the Jamaican for a little bit recovers well to block the cross. He's done alright so far.

min: Beattie volleys wide from 30 yards. Would have been spectacular had it gone in but it was well off target.

min: This is a poor game, both side's losing the ball too easy and creating nothing. Kuqi gets a cheer as he warms up for the first time.

min: Souzza'a dangerous free-kick goes just over Foster and Speroni gathers just about.

min: Beattie finds space in the box but Hassell's tackle is well timed.

min: PENALTY AND GOAL! Moses is bought down by Muller in the box after Campbell-Ryce's week back header falls short and Moses reaches the ball first. His fall was a little exaggerated but he did beat Muller to it, who is booked. Watson calmly slots the kick into the bottom left corner. Maybe the game will get better now.

min: Some debate in the press box as to whether that was a controversial penalty but Moses did have to jump over Muller, even if the landing was aa little suspect. Watson is back on field now after taking a little knock to the head and is now sporting number 60 and a white bandages around his head - very nice. Palace playing better now.

min: Watson's whipped free-kick finds Hill 12 yards out but he closes his eyes and the ball hits his shoulder and goes wide.

min: Carle's throughball finds Beattie through on goal but Hassell does really well again to get the tackle in before the Scot can shoot.

min: Beattie gets a near post header to Watson's corner but glances it just over. Corner was won by Clyne marauding down the right which was good to see.

min: The away fans are furious as Hill and Foster grapple at the back post trying to get to Leon's free-kick and both fall down but the red gives the kick to Palace. Carle then wins a free-kick near the byline but Watson's delivery is too near Muller.

min: Lawrence's clearing header goes all the way through a sleeping Barnsley defence for Beattie to race onto but he flicks it back over the defender and then loses it.

HALF TIME: Well Palace are winning but it hasn't exactly been exciting. There have been a few half chances apart from the penalty but nothing major. Barnsley have shown some nice touches but haven't troubled Speroni. It's not the greatest game for tv.

min: Play is back under way and there are no changes but Watson's got his number 24 shirt back on.

min: Speroni saves from Rigters as Leon's free-kick bobbles about in the box. Was straight at him, anywhere else he would have been in trouble. Palace go up the other end and Watson shoots just wide from distance.

min: Campbell-Ryce outpaces Derry down the right and though Devaney lays his cutback back to De Silva, the Brazilian hits row Z from 12 yards. A minute later and Campbell-Ryce is allowed time to shoot on the box but Speroni gathers easily. Palace living a little dangerously.

min: Hume is denied a shot by large ditch tackles from Hill and Carle, no real penalty appeals from Barnsley but it looked tight from here.

min: Speroni's long kick releases Moses again and his cross gives Beattie space but he wants too much time and is closed before he can get his shot away not for the first time today.

min: GOAL! Watson gets his and Palace's second. It was simple too as Carle got the byline and cut it back for the number 24 to sidefoot home from 12 yards.

min: SUB: Hassell replaced by Van Homoet.

min: SUB: Leon off and Macken on, he gets some boos and some cheers. On the pitch little is happening.

min: Great save form Muller as Moses brilliantly tricks his way past Van Homoet on the left and cuts the ball back for Hill at the neat post but his touch is well saved at point blank range by the keeper.

min: SUB: Rigters off Odejayi on for Barnsley as Clyne shows his pedigree with a dazzling run that De Silva stops with a tug back.

min: SUB: Ifill replaced by Kuqi. Ifill is given a standing ovation though he has played better than today recently.

min: SUB: The limping Shaun Derry is replaced by John Oster and the armband goes to Lawrence. Danns had been set to come on by Warnock changed his mind and has gone for Oster instead.

min: Attendance, 16,494. Highest of the season at Selhurst.

min: GOAL! Kuqi scores for the second game in a row and it's route one. Foster misjudges Speroni's long kick and Kuqi nips in to lob Muller. All is forgiven as he goes on a very happy celebration run.

min: SUB: Beattie off, Ertl on for what I think is his league debut for Palace.

min: Another goal for Palace would put them top half tonight but at the minute they sit 13th.

min: Three minutes is added on as Souza clears Oster's cross off Kuqi's head.

FULL TIME: Palace secure an easy victory despite never really hitting top gear in front of the Sky cameras. Watson's performance in midfield and two goals makes him man of the match though Moses was superb today and full of running. Next up is a tough trip to Birmingham on Tuesday evening. Join us here for all the action. See you then.
