Tottenham Hotspur reportedly sent scouts to watch FSV Mainz 05's Yunus Malli against Hanover 96 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

According to turkish-football.com, Spurs were present as the attacking midfielder played in Mainz's 1-0 win against Hannover 96 last weekend.

Malli, 23, was born in Germany and won a number of caps for the country of his birth at youth level.

However, he elected to represent Turkey, his parents' country of birth, at senior level and could be included in coach Fatih Terim's squad for this summer's European Championships in France.

He has scored eight league goals in 20 starts for Mainz this season and made his debut for Turkey in a friendly win over Qatar in November. Malli has two caps to his name so far.
