Crystal Palace want to sign out-of-favour Newcastle winger Rolando Aarons, according to reports.
Aarons, 22, has made just two league appearances this season since recovering from a serious anterior cruciate ligament injury.
He is not in Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez’s first-team plans and could leave the club next month despite having three-and-a-half years left on his deal.
The Mirror claims Palace and Championship hopefuls Aston Villa are keeping tabs on the Jamaican attacker.
The Eagles need more competition for Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend, while Villa want more firepower to aid their chances of a top-flight return. Huddersfield are also believed to be keen.
Aarons came through Newcastle’s academy to make his first-team bow in 2014. But numerous injuries have hampered his career.
