Assistant boss Gavin MacPherson has urged Met Police to take their pre-season form into the Ryman Premier League next week.
The Blues beat Blue Square Premier Braintree 2-0 on Saturday in a game that saw 24-year-old former West Ham United youngster Sos Yao find the net.
Boss Jimmy Cooper’s men had beaten Fulham, Merstham and Fleet Town, and drawn with Godalming Town prior to the weekend, but lost their unbeaten record with a 3-1 defeat to Corinthian Casuals on Tuesday.
And MacPherson admitted his side had found the winning habit.
“I don’t like losing any game, but the proof will be in the pudding in two weeks time,” he said.
“Good habits are never a bad thing. It’s important we remember what we do well and keep believing in that.”
