Victor Moses is expected to be fit for Crystal Palace's play-off semi-finals despite being substituted just 30 minutes into Sunday's thrashing of Burnley.

The teenage winger was taken off as a precaution after feeling a twinge in his thigh during training on Thursday, and with Palace cruising to victory, manager Neil Warnock decided not to risk him making the problem worse.

However, Warnock was confident the 17-year-old would be ok to play in the semi-final first leg against Bristol City on Saturday.

He said: "It's a precaution. In a shooting session on Thursday he stopped and felt his thigh a little bit.

"Victor's like Victor, it's like trying to get blood out of stone trying to get anything out of him, but we just thought let's get him off and give him another week, no point in risking anything."

James Scowcroft returned to the bench on Sunday, his first appearance in a match day squad since the end of March because of a hamstring injury, and he should be fully fit to play some part in the play-offs.
