Surrey schoolgirl Emelia Gorecka clocked the second fastest 1,500m time by a British U15 runner in the British Milers Club Academy Classic event at Millfield on Monday.
Gorecka, who goes to Howard of Effingham School, was fourth in her race in 4:24.95. The UK U15 record is 4:23.45, set by Scotland Isabel Linaker in 1975.
