Alexander Penney hit Isca for six as Surbiton routed their Exeter-based visitors 10-0 in the third round of the EHB Cup at Sugden Road on Sunday, writes Sean Cotter.
 

Penney netted from five of the 14 penalty corners his Men’s Hockey League Premier Division side forced   and added one penalty stroke for good measure.
 

Further goals from Tim Pinnock (two), Robert Schilling and Chris Grassick completed the rout and set up a last-16 clash with Conference North side Preston at Sugden Road on November 18.

New Surbiton Ladies keeper Abbie Walker marked her debut with two second half saves, as her new club drew 1-1 at Clifton on Saturday.
 

The Great Britain and Scotland international, signed last week, made the two stops after being introduced as a second half
substitute.
 

Vicky Bryant opened the scoring for the visitors, but Clifton levelled 11 minutes later before Walker’s heroics.
 

Surbiton are without a game this weekend as the Futures Cup takes centre stage at Cannock.
