Hampton School footballers were celebrating a double last week as its U18 and U15 teams both secured places at the Independent Schools FA Cup final.

An Ollie Brightman hat-trick in the first half set the tone before further strikes from James Parrott, Toby Godfray and Charlie Seth secured an emphatic 6-0 win at Dulwich College.

It landed the senior team a dream trip in March to League One MK Dons’ Stadium MK for the final against either Bradfield College or Ardlingly College.

The U15s squad were made to work harder as they edged past Brentwood School via a penalty shootout to book their final  appearance at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium to take on Manchester Grammar School.

It is the second time in the past three years that  Hampton has reached the U15 and U18 Final.

In 2012 both sides went on to win their cups with the U18s beating Millfield and the U15s securing victory over Bolton School.

Head of Football at Hampton School, Mr Carlos Mills, said: “It is wonderful for the Hampton U15 and U18 teams to have reached the ISFA Finals and they thoroughly deserve to have got this far.

“We are looking forward to the games which are against strong footballing schools with great players and coaches. They will both be very exciting occasions.”
