All in the preparation: Dave Williamson ran a fine Maidenhead 10-miler in preparation for the London Marathon
Tadworth AC’s Dave Williamson continued his London marathon preparations with a fine run at the Maidenhead Easter 10-mile race on Good Friday, finishing 28th of 1,095 runners, in 57 minutes, 28 seconds.
Team-mate Peter Mills followed shortly after in 35th in 58:37. Roland Hogg completed the team, coming 445th in 1.17:13.
Peter Rand was the first over-60 man in the inaugural running of the Richmond half marathon on Sunday, finishing 67th out of 1,340 in 1.28:11.
Colin Woods was 531st in 1.49:33 and Bill Grimster 1,083rd in 2.09:30.
