The county's sporting greats gathered at the Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot for the 2009 Surrey Sports awards.

Paralympic cycling champion Rachel Morris was crowned Surrey sports personality of the year. The award is recognition of her gold medal achievement at the Beijing Olympics.

Meanwhile, junior skier Zak Jesse scooped the young sports personality of the year award.

Elsewhere, the team of the year prize was was presented to Valley End Cricket Club after they were crowned the national village champions.
