With the first round of the British Superbike Championship less than a week away, Tadworth's MatOrtho Racing rider Dale Thomson is looking for support and sponsorship for the 2011 season.

He said: “With little testing and a lack of funds it’s going to be a tough season ahead, we’ve only managed 3 test days during the pre season and found we had a problem with our suspension, but I think we’ve found a setup that might work but we won’t know for sure until our first free practice at Brands Hatch on Saturday morning.”

The Triumph Triple Challenge is a single make championship for the standard road going Triumph Daytona 675.

A few modifications are permitted to get these bikes racing but very little difference from what you see in your local dealer!

The championship is open to any rider, with the appropriate licence, aged 16 or over and is particularly keen to promote young talent with the winner progressing on to the National Superstock 600 or Supersport class; in 2010 this class was won by Jimmy Dye who secured himself a ride in the Superstock 600 class.
