Streatham Redskins’ turbulent season comes down to one simple equation this Saturday – beat Slough Jets by two goals and stay up.

The club goes into one of the biggest games in their recent history knowing a convincing win would ensure survival in English National League One South for another season at the expense of Slough.

Redskins drew 2-2 with Slough in a dramatic game last Sunday in Brixton, which left the Jets two points ahead and favourites to avoid the drop. Russ Stevens scored a vital equaliser for the Skins during the final third, while net-minder Will Sanderson, an injury doubt before the face-off, performed heroics to keep Slough out during the last moments of the match.

Norm Pinnington had earlier put Skins in front only for Jets to go 2-1 ahead.
