Birmingham & Solihull travel to Esher this Saturday looking to end their Championship campaign on a high note, despite knowing that they are consigned to relegation at the end of the current season.

The Bees’ hopes of taking their Championship Relegation battle to the final game this weekend were dashed by the home defeat by Moseley last Sunday, with other Pool C contenders Esher and Plymouth Albion having already secured their Championship the previous weekend.

Naming the team for the trip down to Surrey, Bees Director of Rugby Russell Earnshaw said, “Saturday will show who can cross the white line and want it no matter what the circumstances. We are going to Esher wanting to finish the season on a high, despite relegation."

Birmingham's starting XV is as follows:- 1.Matt Long, 2.Ross McMillan, 3.Leo Halavatau, 4.Semisi Taulava, 5.Ross Noonan, 6.Jack Bentall, 7.Jack Preece, 8.Adam Clayton, 9.Jimmy Williams, 10.Rod Petty, 11.Mitch Culpin, 12.Rob Connolly, 13.Will Lawson, 14.Simon Hunt, 15.Ollie Winter.
