Richmond director of rugby Steve Hill declared himself delighted with his side’s response to last week’s defeat to Old Albanians after securing a bonus-point win Clifton on Saturday.
A brace from number eight Harry Edwards led the way, with further scores coming from a penatly try and second half replacement George Merrick.
“This was a really important win,” said Hill, whose National Division Two South tabletoppers go to Redruth next weekend.
“I was very pleased with the increased tempo and ambition we showed in the second half.
“Clifton were tough to break down, so to score four tries was great.”
