Wimbledon coach James Ogilvie-Bull reckons they have the player to guide them home as the London Division One South title race goes to the wire.

Dons remain top of the table going into the final three games, but their lead was reduced to just two points after a home defeat to fellow title-chasers Sutton & Epsom on Saturday.

The visitors came from behind to win 13-12 and climb to third, while second placed Chobham beat Sidcup to close the gap on Dons.

However, Dons skipper Neil Hallett, who kicked all 12 points, is the man Bully believes can see them home.

He said: “His influence is massive.

“As someone who has played at a higher level, with England counties and winning promotion to the Championship, he has been there and seen it.”

He added: “He is a hugely calming influence on the boys, and you can tell by his kicking that he does not feel the pressure.

“On more than one occasion he’s won a game with the last kick.”

Wimbledon go to Brighton this weekend, while Chobham host Charlton Park, and Sutton & Epsom go to Basingstoke.
