Charlie Cadogan will have the eyes of the world on him come Friday evening.

That is because the 14-year-old will be at Twickenham stadium carrying the national flag for Fiji at the opening ceremony of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, ahead of their clash with England.

Fly-half Cadogan was selected from hundreds of entries into an Emirates Airline competition where he had to identify a secret venue in London, have his photo taken there and post it on social media.

He will also carry one of the national flags at Twickenham in the semi-final on October 24.

Dad Mark said: "We're very proud that Charlie is involved in a small way in the biggest rugby event in the world and to get onto the pitch at Twickenham is fantastic."

The teenager, who plays for Warlingham's U15s, is in his second season at Warlingham after starting his rugby at Rosslyn Park RFC and he has already toured with Warlingham to France in an international tournament in Paris last season.

Warlingham are gearing up for a busy weekend when they provide full hospitality for the Friday evening's event followed by their first home game of the London Division Two South West season against Portsmouth RFC.
