Storm prepare for new campaign

by Giovanni Cinque South London Storm begin their preparations for the new Rugby League Conference season with their first pre-season training session on Tuesday, February 2 (7.30pm).

The club enjoyed a 100 per cent record last year in claiming the RLC Premier South Minor Premiership, before going down to West London Sharks in the divisional final.

The second team reached the London League semi-final, narrowly going down to Hemel Stags, and move up to the RLC South-East division for 2010.

The academy team claimed the London Youth League title in their debut year.

The club is also launched a veterans’ and women’s team this year.

Their base is at Streatham-Croydon RFC's home in Frant Road, Thornton Heath.
