Twickenham ready to put title hopes on the line

Twickenham head coach Clive See will be out for revenge when his side travel to Old Priorians tomorrow in a crunch match that could potentially decide the title, writes Jan Kapcia.

Twickenham, a point above second-placed Priorians in the London Division Three North West table, thrashed Cheshunt 34-0 at the weekend to go into tomorrow’s clash in fine form going forward and in defence.

But See, whose free-scoring side have now notched 497 points in 13 games this term, is only too aware of what his full-strength side will face having lost to the hosts – who have a game in hand on their rivals – by a single point 21-20 when the two teams met in October.

“We’ve got no injury worries, so we’re at full strength,” he said.

“We’ve basically kept the same side all season, which has been a bonus.

“It’s helped us play some good stuff.  We are throwing the ball around well and playing some quick rugby.

“The last time we played them, we lost the game rather than they won it. We were up in that one and should’ve seen it out.”
