Sutton & Epsom started their London Division One South campaign on a winning note at Twickenham on Saturday - but only just.
The Rugby Lane club, who narrowly missed out on promotion last term, secured a nailbiting 33-31 win at Parkfields - a game the featured tries from Sutton's Frankie Murray and Nate Chapman.
Sutton recruited former England scrum half Paul Hodgson as a player coach over the summer and will be looking to better last season's third place finish.
Twickenham endured a season long battle against the drop last term, but will be bouyed by the start they made to the new campaign at the weekend.
