At last, I can have my life back...

Webmonkey is now married. :)

It was quick but fairly loud. The night before we spent 2 hours putting on chair covers, before dashing back to the house to finish decorating the cake. The morning of the wedding was spent running around like headless chickens putting favours and decorations on the tables - I had my trusty band of loonies to help me.

I couldn't relax until I knew that the cake was safely installed. In honour of my (frankly undeserved) cow-mad reputation, the cake was cow-print. Hinting at Mr Webmonkey's fairly terrifying toy-sheep collection, the placecards were sheep-shaped and made of plantable seeded paper. The general idea was understated sophistication, with hints of madness.

Luckily for us, the one day of Summer we had this year seemed to fall on our wedding day. In fact the whole day seemed to go really well - no tripping, no fallen cakes, nobody died... Mr Webmonkey only trod on my dress 4 times, and nothing got broken.

Revelling in our newly charmed lives, we made our way to the airport - where our honeymoon flight was grounded for two hours by bad weather...
