UPDATE: Thornton Heath fatality was 62-year-old woman
A 62-year-old woman died after being hit by a train at Thornton Heath station.
Initial reports suggested the victim of the incident on November 8 was a man.
But British Transport Police confirmed a 62-year-old woman was killed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
