Hot on the heels of my 'no news is good news piece', I've had this through from Croydon police press office. Looks like they are lumping together several vehicle fires as one incident if they were all part of one attack.
--- 'Can confirm Police are aware of a series of vehicle fires that occurred in the Thornton Heath area between 26 - 29 March.
26 March - three incidents between 0000hrs - 0300hrs.
27 March - one incident at 0200hrs.
28 March - three incidents between 2221hrs - 2310hrs.
29 March - one incident at 0004hrs.
The fires are being treated as suspicious and the investigation remains on-going.
No arrests.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Croydon CID on 020 8649 0258. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111'.
