I know this is probably a massive long shot, but some things are worth a try.

After selling his Nintendo DS at the boot sale last month at Oasis Shirley Academy, my son realised that it had photographs of his grandad on the day he last saw him alive.

He is very sad and cross with himself about not remembering to transfer the photographs.

We would be incredibly grateful if the buyer of the black DS at 9am on November 30 at Oasis Shirley Academy boot sale, could contact me on anna.moorhouse123@ btinternet.com.

My message to the buyer – a white man, with a flat cap – you bought the black DS from a young boy who would be incredibly grateful to see it again.

He was really excited about Christmas and was counting the days left. He now says he can not feel excited because he is too sad.

Please get in touch.
