For a political party that talks so much about transparency the Conservatives need to practise what they preach.
Our family went along to the rally outside the council offices to support the non-political Save Purley Pool campaign several months ago.
Professional press photographers made it very clear when they were taking pictures, which we were happy to be involved with to support this fantastic local resource.
However, the Conservatives must have been sneakily taking photos too. When their newsletter came through our door my wife and I were appalled that in a large photograph on the front page we were clearly in view; most upsetting of all, so was our 11-year-old daughter and four-year-old son – without any permission asked for or granted.
