The dog walkers at Grangewood Park, Thornton Heath, were all very upset to hear about the death of Dylan the much-loved Yorkshire terrier and the horrible events surrounding this incident in Thornton Heath recreation ground recently.
I think the actions of Raquel Miravalles Quesada, Dylan’s owner, have been quite remarkable considering the shock and the pain she must be suffering.
This lady got the story featured on ITV News, it was covered by two local newspapers and also a national one, plus internet media.
We all now have a clear picture of the louts who were ultimately responsible for this little dog’s death and it does not make for pleasant viewing.
If these inadequate people are swigging lager all day and their dogs are not under control cannot Croydon Council use their authority to ban the consumption of alcohol in these grounds?
It is a lovely spot in Thornton Heath and low life should not be allowed to contaminate it We all wish Raquel happier days ahead.
