Frant Road doesn’t need traffic calming measures

Who decided to put calming measures in Frant Road? Has this person been in Frant Road for the past six years? Has he tried to speed in Frant Road past cars parked on either side of the road, which for the most part, allows one car to pass at any one time?

I have used this route four times a week for the last six years and have not been able to exceed 20 mph to 25 mph at best. If the Highways Department has excess money to spend on unnecessary road works, surely they will be better employed spending it in a more useful way by cleaning up the disgusting mess outside and around West Croydon Station? Perhaps Norbury, London Road, could also benefit?
