On Sunday, 8th September, two members of Norbury Green Residents' Association cycled from London to Brighton to raise £2,000 for Dementia UK Admiral Nurses. Neighbours Charmian Gunnis and Helen Toumazos battled through the early morning chill, mid morning sun, torrential rain and strong head winds and made it to the finish line in 5hrs 45mins.

Admiral Nurses work to support the family carers and people with dementia. Please see this link for the amazing things they do http://www.dementiauk.org/what-we-do/admiral-nurses.

Fundraising is still open so if you would like to make their efforts even more worthwhile and help these fantastic specialist nurses to help more families coping with dementia please go to their fundraising pages and anything you can give will be greatly appreciated to support the invaluable work of Admiral Nurses. All donations gratefully received - however large or small! www.doitforcharity.com/charmian or www.doitforcharity.com/helentoumazos Many thanks for your support!
