By popular demand, The Jolly Farmers at Purley is organising a Mid Summer Music Marathon at the end of June.
This is a repeat of Music Marathons which were organised in 2010, 2011 and 2012. With a late license, live music will be played from 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 21st June to Midnight on Sunday 22nd June. As with the 2012 event, there will be a break from 4.00 am on the Sunday morning until 11.00 a.m. ( breakfast will be served from 9.00 a.m. and this may be accompanied by some live music again !!) This is a great opportunity for singers, groups and bands to showcase their music, and their details will be published on the Jolly Farmers Web Site.
All performers are invited to book a performance slot by emailing: manager@jollyfarmers-purley.co.uk Please include artiste’s details and a contact telephone number.
Throughout the event, collections will be made and an blind auction run to raise money for two local charities. ( details to be included on the web site. ) Following this unique event, the Jolly Farmers will present a full week of live music, supporting the Purley Festival as follows: Mon 23rd - Young Performers: Tue 24th – New bands: Wed 25th Acoustic Night hosted by Marc Chapman: Thursday 26th at 10.00 p.m. Acoustic Duo: Friday 27th Big Band Night: Saturday 28th Band Night: Sunday 29th –Jam Night.
