Surrey Freemasons Assist The Children's Trust at Tadworth

by John Milner - Eric Stuart-Bamford, the Provincial Grand Master of Surrey Masons, presented a cheque for £8.000 to Allegra Scott who was representing the Children's Trust at Tadworth, when they met at The Nutfield Masonic Centre, recently.

The money will probably be used to assist in accommodating parents on overnight stays when visiting their children at the hospital. It was raised by Freemasons across Surrey during a Family Fun Weekend and by donations from several lodges including some from Croydon and Sutton. Lodges subscribing to the amount included Ballards, The Oaks, Gatwick, Thurlow Park, The Olde Wells and Haroldslea.

The Childrens Trust at Tadworth and Help the Heroes are the nominated charities for Surrey Freemasonry for the year.
