Father Christmas is making a special visit to St Christopher's Hospice on Saturday November 25 - when he will be in attendance at one of south London's favourite annual events, the St Christopher's Hospice Christmas Bazaar.
Held at the St Christopher's, Lawrie Park Road, Sydenham, the doors will open from 10.30am to 1pm. Admission - only £1 for adults with children allowed in free - it gives access to a host of Christmas gifts for all the family, a tombola, seasonal refreshments and the highlight of the event - Santa's Grotto.
It costs over £11milion every year to maintain St Christopher's services, to provide specialist nursing and medical care to dying people and their families and friends in Croydon, south-east London and Bromley. The Hospice has to raise over £6 million from donations and legacies, and relies on events such as the bazaar to raise vital funds.
