High Veterinary Costs Spark Debate on Animal Rights

7:07pm Wednesday 22nd October 2014

Part of having a pet is accepting all of the responsibilities that come along with it; for example, taking it for walks, feeding it, and taking it to the vet’s surgery when it’s ill. However, the latter of these is one that has been recently brought into question, as the high costs of treatment for injured animals, as well as routine check-ups, mean that quite a large amount of pet owners are struggling to pay for their pets to receive the appropriate treatment when they need it.

Colliers Wood Plans Regeneration

7:04pm Wednesday 22nd October 2014

In the heart of Colliers Wood, plans are under way to regenerate the area and to begin to transform it into an up-and-coming, thriving neighbourhood, much like the nearby areas of Battersea and Clapham have become in recent years. One of the signs of a budding transformation is the planned proposals by the Indigo Planning Company to completely redesign the Donald Hope Library and the Cavendish House Building. A recent exhibition, on the 9th October, at the current site of the Donald Hope Library revealed the plans for the building. The new building will house 60 flats, ranging from one to three bedrooms in size, along with a replacement library and commercial unit which will include a number of community facilities, such as a conference room.

We all know that Japan is famous for its advanced technology, but in fact, all food there is tasty and delicious too! I have been to Osaka recently and I couldn't help myself from eating, despite the fact that I was very full. Japan is like a heaven to matcha (aka green tea) lovers, since there are loads of high quality matcha products and dishes. Actually, greetea is very healthy as it is anti-oxidant and it helps weight loss!
