On the 26th march Croydon high will be celebrating 140 years at the Fairfield Halls. The school is enthusiastic about this great event and nearly all the girls are taking part to make it even more special! There are lots of things to do, whether you’re involved with music, drama or even if your helping backstage, it all counts.

Mrs Cohen, the music teacher and Mrs Webb, the drama teacher have put a lot of effort into this and are hoping for outstanding results. The school have also designed badges in remembrance of the 140 years, the girls all have them sewed onto their blazers. Mr Divall takes the blame for that!

Our Schedules are jam packed with Rehearsals for the 140th especially if you’re in the choir. Knowing your lines, where you’re going to stand and what you’re going to do is crucial if you want to stay in Mrs Cohen’s good books.

Over 200 tickets have already been sold and I am told that they are running out quickly, so if anyone wants a ticket they better hurry!

Mrs Webb is currently filming for the celebration. She has gathered girls from every department and is hoping to re-create the journey of Croydon high, provided the weather is good to her!

As time is not on our side we have to work really hard to get this up to scratch and we all hope to have fun in the process!
