Selsdon Funeralcare is appealing for help with a special Easter “egg-ercise” in aid of local children.

Staff from the Co-op funeral home in Addington Road, Selsdon, are urging members of the local community to donate Easter eggs. These will be donated to local charities Calley Down Crescent Respite Care Unit for Children in New Addington, and Cranmer Court Care Home in Warlingham.

Amanda Tarrant, Funeral Arranger at Co-op Funeralcare in Selsdon, commented: “There are many people, from young to old, in the local area who may welcome a bit of extra cheer this Easter. As a business at the heart of the community, we want to do our bit by trying to put a smile on as many faces as possible.”

Easter eggs can be handed to staff at the funeral home until Friday 7th April 2017. The collection of Easter eggs will be presented to the children at the respite centre on Thursday 13th April 2017 in time for Easter.

If you would like to make a donation, get in touch with Amanda Tarrant the funeral home on 020 8916 0782, or visit Selsdon Funeralcare on 178 Addington Road, Selsdon, CR2 8LB.
