Using only spray paint and duct tape, a Trinity School student has re-created the Croydon skyline as part of a five week Christmas celebration.
Adam Cady was commissioned by Croydon BID as part of its ‘Festive Fantasia’ project to create the piece of art inspired by Croydon’s crocus-growing history.
Adam was blown away when he found out he had been chosen for the project.
“Out of the many people that could have been chosen I am honoured to have been selected for this project," he said.
"Croydon is developing into a cultural centre and it’s fantastic to be playing a part in it, with art that is accessible to everyone.”
Adam wasn't the only one happy to be chosen.
Alison Fulker, Adam’s art teacher at Trinity, said: “I am extremely proud of Adam – seeing him develop over these past few years has been a delight.
"He is even now inspiring other younger pupils with his work, which is fantastic.”
Adam’s work will be on display from 4.30pm-8.30pm, Wednesday to Saturday, at the top of Croydon High Street until December 23.
