A Sanderstead panto group is ready to kick off the new year in style as they put a new twist on an old classic.
In its 79th annual pantomime, the Sanderstead Dramatic's Club will be performing an originally scripted Red Riding Hood.
SDC chairman and director John Desbottes believes his script will being out many a smile come January.
“It’s always fun to revisit classic stories and add a new twist, so we’ve had a great time rehearsing this show," he said.
"The club has been entertaining audiences for 110 years now, and it’s fantastic to see lots of new local people come and take part in, and watch, our pantomimes.
"We look forward to opening the doors at All Saints in January."
Running from January 6-13, tickets for the fairy-tale are now on sale.
