A 68-year-old woman has been stabbed in the leg after an aggravated burglary at an address in Croydon.
Police were called to the home on Beulah Hill on Monday (September 3) shortly before 9pm.
Detectives say a safe was stolen during the aggravated burglary and a woman was taken to hospital with stab wounds to her leg. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The woman was attacked by five males who broke into the home before stealing the safe and fleeing in a white van.
Police want to locate the large green safe which weighs over 100 kilos and may have been discarded. It opens with a key and does not have a combination lock.
