Firefighters are tackling a fire at a flat on the first floor of a house converted into flats in Thornton Heath
A Thornton Heath flat has been damaged after an early morning fire.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the home in Richmond Road, Thornton Heath just before 8am this morning.
Half of a three-roomed flat on the first floor of a mid-terraced house converted into flats was damaged by the fire.
Two people left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire was under control at 9.03am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
