A former Croydon resident is hoping that Croydon Guardian readers can help him trace some of the faces from his past.
Madhu Thakrar lived at the YMCA on the corner of Wellesley and Landsdowne roads between 1967 and 1971.
He went to Croydon Technical College from 1967 to 1969 and then worked for Cementation Construction on Mitcham road from 1969 to 1971.
He sent us two photographs of his friends at the time, he is wearing the cowboy hat.
He said: “I'm trying to trace as many people as possible for a possible reunion.
“In 1968 I was 18 years old. Even after 40-odd years I still recall some names in these photos.”
