Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of Muhaajid Wilson in Thornton Heath.

The pair, aged 17 and 25, were arrested this afternoon and taken to a south London police station for questioning.

Mr Wilson, 20, was found suffering a deadly knife wound following a fight outside Mamma's Pizza takeaway in High Street just after 8.30pm on Monday.

Today's arrests are the second and third to be made by detectives investigating the murder of Mr Wilson, known to friends as Tiny Sneaky or TS. 

A 23-year old man was arrested on suspicion of murder close to the scene of the stabbing on Monday evening.

He was later bailed to a date in mid-April.

Detectives believe Mr Wilson arrived in High Street in a Fiat Punto shortly before 8.30pm on Monday, parking opposite the takeway and approaching a group of "nine or 10 men" gathered outside.

An argument is thought to have broken out and escalated into a fight that spilled out into the road, forcing cars to stop.

After Mr Wilson was stabbed, a young black man wearing dark clothes and face mask is believed to have run off at speed down nearby Gisland Road.

Detectives have appealed for any witnesses to come forward, and are keeping an "open mind" about the motive for the attack.
