A girl has died after being hit by a van this morning.
The Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to a road traffic collision in Wellesley Road, at 8.45am this morning.
The girl, reported to be three years old, was taken to St George's hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.
A police spokesman said: "We we called at 8.52am to reports of a young child in collision with a vehicle, believed to be a van, in Wellesley Road.
"She was taken to St George's Hospital, but sadly died."
No arrests have been made.
